Back Into rio,

I got back into rio yesterday afternoon and went straight to my hotel, after checking in at the arena copocabana I decided to go to the panoramic bar on the top floor…..the views are amazing. I then went for a walk at Avienda atlantica and grab some lunch….yep you guessed it I had some pizza!
after coming back to the hotel and just relaxing by the pool I decided to get ready and go for a cpl of beers at the Irish bar about 10 minutes walk away.
I was glad that I went as it was nice to see the hustle and bustle of copacobana at night time.
I am just about to go down for breakfast and then am planning on spending most of my time at the beach……I haven’t got anything else planned in all honesty as the two days at the arena are all about relaxing!
I go to my hostel tomorrow which is based in the Vidigal favela, I am looking forward to that and from the map I don’t think it is to far away, apparently there is a favela party on tomorrow so I am hoping to go to that will ask the hostel once i get there.
as mentioned earlier the main purpose of today was to relax and that is all i have done…..i went to the beach for about 11ish and didn’t come back till 4! I went into the water for a little while to cool down, however the waves are really big and even though I am able to swim in all honesty i was slightly scared!
its nice as I have still got over a week in rio so I don’t have to rush to see all the sights….my plan is to start the main sight seeing from saturday, I guess it all depends on if the favela party is good and what time I get back from it….
